Knox County now has its 7th positive case of COVID-19.

Knox County Medical Officer Dr. Alan Stewart says the patient is quarantined at home and contacts have been notified and placed in self-isolation. He says all seven patients are doing well at this time and his department continues to exceede CDC guidelines in quarantine measures and continues to monitor the patients.

Almost 4,000 cases of COVID-19 exist in Indiana as of Saturday morning.

The Indiana State Department of Health reports that 3,953 Hoosiers have tested positive, out of 19,800 tested.

Deaths have risen to 116 in total, with 34 of the fatal cases coming out of Marion County.
