REM Development updated the Vincennes Redevelopment Commission Thursday on its plans for the Gimbel-Bond Property located downtown.

Earlier this year the company revealed their intention to acquire the Oliphant Building and create living areas   REM has the building and was now needing the corner lot to continue with the process.

The RDC did approve transferring the land to REM.

It was also announced that because of positive feedback concerning the future creation of living units and a garage, that REM may be expanding the scope of the project even more.
