Washington City officials are asking the public to help them keep public attendance of city meetings to a minimum.
Mayor Dave Rhoads says if anyone needs to address the City Council or Board of Public Works and Safety to contact his office and be placed on the agenda. Discussions will be over the phone rather than in person.
The meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 6:30. They are live streamed on YouTube.
The request is being made in the wake of rising COVID-19 cases in Daviess County.
If you need more information or to get put on the agenda of an upcoming meeting call the Washington Mayor’s Office at 812-254-5575.
