South Knox hosted Rivet and shut out the patriots 5-0.

Spartans Nathan Robbins shut out Thomas Herman 6-0 in both sets.

Number two singles Hunter Sievers’ first set went to a tie break against Patriot Mason Trent.

Sievers took the first set 7-6, winning the tie break 7-4.

Trent took the first three points of the second set but Sievers won the next six.

Spartan number three singles Nathan Ruppel took down John Gafner 6-1 and 6-3.

In doubles, Jared Fuller and Noah Hayden shut out Zach Bottoms and Cody Creech 6-0 in both sets.

Rivet forfeited the number two doubles match, giving South Knox’s’ Trevor Lough and Evan Dreiman the win.

South Knox is now 7-7 on the season and will be back on the courts as they host Wood Memorial Thursday at home.

The Patriots are 0-4 on the season. They look to get their first win Monday when they travel to play Loogootee.
