The South Knox girls soccer team also came away with a win last night, beating the Southridge Raiders 4-1.

Four Spartans scored as the defensive held up against the Raider’s attack.

Jordyn Derouin scored once and also had an assist.

Meg Phegley, Morgan Alderton, and Jade Powell all had one goal apiece.

Spartan Keeper Jayda Millspaugh helped her team with 3 saves on goal on four shots, only allowing one to get by her.

South Knox is now 8-3-1 on the season.

They take the field again tomorrow as they face Terre Haute North Vigo at home.
