We’re a week away from the return of the First City Music Festival.

It gets underway officially next Friday, September 30, at the French Commons in Vincennes. There is some preliminary activity happening on Thursday the 29th.

In addition to live music, vendors will be coming in from around the country.

There will also be a variety of activities including several yoga classes and tarot readings.

Organizer Nash Dunn says there will be plenty for everyone to enjoy.

Tickets are $40 daily on Friday, Saturday and Sunday or $80 for the weekend.

Thursday only you can gain free entrance with a sack of non-perishable goods for the United Way.

You can also make a donation to the Evan Twitty Foundation.

That night’s music runs from 4 PM to 11.
