
The Indiana Uplands Region is releasing more information about how they plan to use money from the Regional Economic Acceleration and Development Initiative.
Indiana Uplands includes Daviess, Martin, Dubois and Greene Counties.
In Daviess County, Comforting Hearts will get 150,000 dollars for the all-inclusive playground they’re planning at Longfellow Park.
The Daviess County 4h Association will receive a little more than 249-thousand dollars for a Youth Expo Center pending IEDC approval.
Over in Martin County, the city of Loogootee will get 225-thousand dollars for the Loogootee Downtown Park Pavilion.
Several projects in Dubois County will receive a little money.
This includes 225-thousand dollars for Dubois County Park improvements, 249-thousand dollars for phase II of the courthouse square revitalization project, and 110-thousand dollars for the Huntingburg Alley project in downtown Huntingburg.
Finally, in Greene County the city of Bloomfield will receive 100-thousand dollars towards renovating Bloomfield Park.
