Five of the 6 Indiana GOP Gubernatorial candidates stopped in Vincennes on Saturday.

They appeared and spoke in front of invited members of the 8th District Republican Party at a gathering at Old Chicago’s on Main Street.

The 2024 Primary is less than 9 months away and all are vying to become the next Indiana Governor in 2025.

We asked each candidate what their message is to voters at this point in the campaign.

Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch said she wants to eliminate income tax…

US Senator Mike Braun said he wants to tackle the high cost of healthcare and address education spending…

Former Attorney General Curtis Hill said his message is to rise up and get engaged.  He said people learned a lot about government and education during the pandemic and didn’t like what they learned…

Also attending Saturday’s event in Vincennes was Republican Candidate and Housing Developer Eric Doden of the Fort Wayne area.  He says he offers voters bold leadership….

Former Indiana Commerce Secretary Brad Chambers said he wants voters to know he’s an outsider and not a politician and his focus is the economy…

Not attending the forum downtown on Saturday was candidate Jamie Reitenour.
