The Purdue Extension Knox County Health & Human Sciences depart along with the Vincennes Salvation Army is hosting a “Be Heart Smart” program. This will be a four week course to learn about risk factors for cardiovascular disease and action steps to prevent or reduce the potential for negative outcomes like heart attack or stroke.
This class will meet every Wednesday, Jan 29th until Feb 19th. Class times are 6-7PM. The Salvation Army offers a free meal at 5:15 if you wish to come early for dinner. Child care also provided by Salvation Army. The class is free but you must RSVP to attend as space is limited.
