Time is running out for students to apply for a local scholarship. The Indiana Daughters of the American Revolution Francis Vigo Chapter in Vincennes is accepting applications for its annual scholarship, with a minimum award of $500.

Selection is based on academic excellence, extracurricular participation, community involvement, commitment to a field of study, and financial need. No affiliation with DAR is required.

Eligible applicants must be U.S. citizens attending a college, university, technical school, or certificate/license program in Indiana. A letter of sponsorship from a local DAR chapter is required. To obtain a sponsorship letter, contact Sandra Ave at 812-881-9668.

Applications must be submitted in one complete package and postmarked before March 1, 2025, to the DAR State Scholarship Chairman.
