A disturbance call in rural Gibson County led to the arrest of an Evansville man.

Deputies responded around 11:19 p.m. on May 1 to the 700 block of South 1150 East near Oakland City. According to the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office, 43-year-old Kevin Milligan became verbally abusive and claimed he had a gun inside the residence. When Deputy Wyatt Hunt attempted to take him into custody, Milligan reportedly became physically violent.

While being transported to jail, Milligan allegedly threatened to kill the deputy and his family. He was booked into the Gibson County Jail on charges of intimidation and resisting law enforcement.
