With dog kennels at full capacity and kitten season in full swing, the local animal shelter is asking for help feeding its growing population.

The Vincennes Animal Shelter says they are utilizing a 40-pound bag of dog food every day. Staff say many of their dogs have sensitive stomachs and would benefit from high-protein options like Purina One, Blue Buffalo, Diamond Naturals, or Iams.

They are also seeing an increase in kittens and say any donations of dog or kitten food would be appreciated.
