A robbery at a Sunoco gas station in Sullivan remains under investigation by local authorities.

According to the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the scene just after 10 p.m. Friday night. By the time they arrived, the suspect had already fled in a vehicle and remains at large.

Police say they conducted an “exhaustive” search in the area, but the suspect was not located. The investigation is ongoing, and officials report there is no known threat to the public at this time.

The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office received assistance from Indiana State Police and the police departments in Sullivan, Shelburn, and Jasonville.
