The Indiana Department of Transportation will close a section of State Road 159 in Sullivan County starting Monday, June 2. The closure will take place between Dugger and Pleasantville for four pipe replacement projects. Local traffic will be allowed up to the work zone. INDOT expects the work to last about a week, weather permitting.

Also beginning June 2, alternating lane closures are planned on Interstate 69 in Daviess County. The closures will affect both directions between mile markers 57 and 59 near Washington as crews install a polymeric bridge overlay. Work will begin in the passing lanes before shifting to the driving lanes. That project is expected to take about a month. INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert in the work zone.
