The family of a deceased Vincennes man has now been located.

Over the weekend, The Knox County Coroner’s Office asked for the public’s help in finding next of kin for 65-year-old Samuel L. Ritchie, who was found dead on Wednesday, June 4, in Vincennes. At the time, no immediate relatives had been identified or reached.

That call for help was widely shared across social media and local news outlets. Sunday afternoon it was confirmed that Mr. Ritchie’s family had been located and notified.
