Two southern Indiana men are facing separate charges related to child exploitation and possession of child pornography following investigations by local and state authorities.

Nicholas Combs, 35, of Vincennes was booked into the Knox County Jail on Tuesday. He faces charges of possession of child pornography, child exploitation, and disseminating matter or conducting a performance harmful to minors. The Knox County Sheriff’s Department made the arrest, with the date of the alleged crimes listed as June 12. Bond for Combs was set at $9,000 on the exploitation charge.

Also on Tuesday, 33-year-old Derek S. Voges of Tell City was arrested by Indiana State Police. He faces five counts of child exploitation and seven counts of possessing child pornography. Voges’ arrest followed a months-long investigation by the Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. The investigation began in January after a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. A search warrant was served at Voges’ Bradford Drive home in Tell City in April, and charges were filed on June 19.
