State Road 59 in downtown Linton remains closed due to yesterday’s building collapse.
The building known as the old “Murphy’s Building” at the corner of East Vincennes and South Main Street gave way after the back wall fell in and the roof then came down.
No one was injured but three cars nearby were damaged. No one was in the cars or the building or on the sidewalk when the incident occurred.
No word on the exact cause of the collapse.
