A Sullivan County man died in a two-vehicle crash in Vigo County on Sunday.

The Indiana State Police say the crash happened around 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Springhill Drive and McDaniel Road.

Investigators believe 70-year-old Rickie Killion of Sullivan was driving west on Springhill Drive when he failed to stop at a red light and tried to turn south onto McDaniel Road. His vehicle was struck by a northbound pickup truck driven by 67-year-old Kenneth Sullivan of Citrus Heights, California.

The impact caused Killion’s vehicle to roll over completely before coming to a stop. Killion was taken to a Terre Haute hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Sullivan and two passengers were also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

State Police say drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash, which is still under investigation.
