Time is running out for residents and businesses impacted by the late June and early July storms to apply for disaster assistance through the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The Disaster Loan Outreach Center at the Odon Community Center will close at 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 31. SBA staff are available on-site to help applicants from Daviess, Dubois, Greene, Knox, Martin, and Pike counties who suffered damage from the June 28–July 2 storms.

The center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day through Thursday. Those needing assistance are encouraged to visit before the deadline.

Applications for physical damage must be submitted by September 16, 2025. Economic Injury Disaster Loan applications are due by April 20, 2026. For more information, visit www.SBA.gov.
