A man was arrested following an early morning altercation Tuesday at the Love’s Truck Stop near Haubstadt.

Gibson County Central Dispatch received a call at 6:10 a.m. reporting a physical altercation at the truck stop located at 901 East 1250 South. Deputies located a gray 2016 GMC Sierra with Kentucky plates connected to the incident and conducted a welfare check.

After separating the occupants, investigators determined a physical altercation had occurred. Following the investigation, 46-year-old Issac Kennedy of Indianapolis was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Detention Center.

Kennedy was charged with confinement, battery, and strangulation.
