Indiana’s Addison Chattin wrapped up her appearance at the America’s Outstanding Teen competition in Orlando over the weekend.

The Vincennes native, who earned the title of Indiana’s Outstanding Teen earlier this year, competed in America’s Outstanding Teen, part of the Miss America program.

While Chattin did not move into the final eleven, she earned recognition during the preliminary rounds. She was awarded the Preliminary Talent title, a distinction that brought her a $1,500 scholarship.

The national crown went to Tess Ferm of South Carolina.
