Vincennes University has released photos of its new Center for Health Sciences and Innovative Learning.
The $33.9 million project is the largest building investment in the school’s history, funded through the state. The two-story, 72,000 square-foot facility is being built on the former site of Harrison Hall along Indianapolis Avenue.
When it opens in January 2026, the center will nearly double the size of the current Health Sciences and Human Performance building. It will feature smart classrooms, study and lounge areas, and academic and administrative offices.
A highlight is a suite of advanced simulation labs equipped with high-fidelity manikins, virtual reality training, and video recording systems to give students hands-on clinical experience.
Programs in Nursing, Health Information Management, Surgical Technology, Physical Therapist Assistant, Pharmacy Technology, and Funeral Service Education will be housed in the new facility.
