A Princeton man was arrested Saturday after a multi-county police chase.

Police say officers tried to stop a vehicle for traffic violations when the driver sped away. The pursuit went through Francisco and Oakland City before entering Pike County.

Gibson County deputies, Oakland City Police, and Pike County officers joined the chase. Pike County officers eventually used stop sticks to stop the vehicle.

The driver, Iziah L. Saum, was arrested on charges of resisting law enforcement in a vehicle, reckless driving, and criminal recklessness.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
