A woman has been arrested in Vincennes as the second suspect in a Gibson County double murder.
Amanda N. Kegg, 34, was taken into custody Wednesday on a warrant for Conspiracy to Commit Murder, a Level 1 felony. She was booked into the Gibson County Detention Center after being arrested by Gibson County detectives with assistance from Vincennes Police.
Her arrest is connected to the investigation into the deaths of 51-year-old Malisa Kegg and 34-year-old Michael Kegg III. The two were found inside a burning home on East State Road 64 near Francisco on December 31, 2024. The Gibson County Coroner later determined both victims died from gunshot wounds to the chest.
On January 1, 2025, 53-year-old Michael Kegg Jr. of Decker was arrested and charged with murder in the case. Investigators said at the time that evidence showed the fire was not accidental.
Vincennes Police assisted in Amanda Kegg’s arrest on Wednesday.
