The Vincennes YMCA’s Family Fun Night has been rescheduled for Saturday, November 1, after being postponed due to weather earlier this month.

The free event will run from 4 to 8 p.m. in the YMCA parking lot near the football field and is open to the public. Families can enjoy bounce houses, carnival games, face painting, and a hayride. A family Halloween costume contest and a decorated golf cart parade will highlight the evening’s activities.

Other attractions include a drive-in movie featuring It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and Toy Story of Terror, as well as games on the Y’s new simulator walls and a s’mores-making station. Hotdogs, chips, and apple cider will also be available, along with free pumpkins donated by Mouzin Farms.

YMCA COO Bill Davis says the night is designed to bring the community together and showcase what the Y has to offer.  He discourages dropping off kids and leaving.  “We want the families to stay and be involved and see what the Y has to offer to the families. ”

More information can be found on the Vincennes YMCA Facebook page.
