An Evansville man faces multiple charges following a Sunday afternoon 911 call in Gibson County.

Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched around 1:12 p.m. to State Road 165 near County Road 925 South after a report of an unresponsive driver in a black Honda Civic.

Deputy Wes Baumgart found the vehicle and spoke with the driver, identified as 44-year-old Bentley Brown of Evansville. Authorities say Baumgart detected signs that Brown was under the influence of an unknown intoxicant and began an OWI investigation.

Brown was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Detention Center. He’s charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, and possession of a controlled substance.
