An early morning traffic stop in Vincennes led to a meth dealing arrest.
Knox County Chief Deputy John Fuller says a deputy stopped a blue Chrysler 200 just after two a.m. near U.S. 41 South and Old 41 for driving left of center.
K9 Goran was brought to the scene and alerted to possible narcotics. Deputies say a passenger, 44-year-old Cassie Sligar, had prescription medication in her purse and was taken to the Knox County Jail.
During the booking process, officers found a digital scale and 24 grams of methamphetamine hidden on her.
Sligar now faces multiple charges, including dealing and possession of methamphetamine, along with possession of a legend drug and a controlled substance.
