Colder temperatures and the chance for snow will wrap up November as Hoosiers head into the Thanksgiving holiday and the weekend that follows.
A Wind Advisory is in effect today across much of Indiana, with strong west winds expected to cause difficult travel and the potential for scattered power outages. Officials say gusts could blow around unsecured items and bring down tree limbs.
Thanksgiving Day will stay cold and breezy, with highs around 40 degrees. But forecasters say the bigger story arrives this weekend, when a system could bring a mix of rain and snow to the region. Snow is possible Saturday into Saturday night, and some accumulation can’t be ruled out, though there’s still uncertainty in how the system will develop.
Residents are urged to stay aware of changing conditions as holiday travel picks up across the state.
