A Princeton man was taken into custody twice on Tuesday for violating a protective order.

Deputies say they served 30-year-old Alexander Slagle with the order around 1:30 Tuesday afternoon, telling him he couldn’t go back to a home on North Main Street.

About two hours later, dispatch got a call that Slagle was back at that same address. When deputies arrived, they found him on the porch with the order still in his pocket. He was arrested and taken to the Gibson County Detention Center on an Invasion of Privacy charge.

Slagle posted bond—but deputies say he returned to the home again later that night. He was rearrested around 11 p.m. and is now being held without bond.
