A southern Indiana attraction is gaining national attention this holiday season.

French Lick Resort in French Lick and West Baden is featured in HGTV’s list of “30 of the Prettiest Places Decorated for Christmas Across America.”

According to the online feature, HGTV highlights the resort’s two historic hotels for their standout holiday displays. French Lick Springs Hotel and the West Baden Springs Hotel are both known for elaborate seasonal décor, but HGTV points to the 45-foot Christmas tree at West Baden’s domed atrium as the centerpiece that draws visitors each year.

The story also notes the resort’s annual Gingerbread House display, a kid-friendly attraction built with nearly 700 pounds of edible decorations, including gingerbread and candy.
