If you’re ready to think about spring after the recent winter weather, the Knox County Library has a hands-on opportunity this week.

The Knox County Seed Library is hosting a seed packaging workday Wednesday from 10 to 3. Volunteers will help sort and package seeds to restock the library, and no experience is needed. All materials and instructions will be provided.

The event will be held in the Seed Library basement near the Teen Room. Questions can be directed to the Knox County Seed Library Facebook page or by email.

Looking ahead, Purdue Extension will offer Master Gardener basic training beginning in February. The program runs through May, is primarily virtual, and includes two in-person sessions.

Registration is due January 14, with details available through Purdue Extension Knox County.
