WIN Energy REMC is highlighting volunteer work completed this year through its WIN for the Community program.

The cooperative partnered with two local non-profit organizations — Isaiah 117 House in Vincennes and the Gibson County Council on Aging in Princeton.

In September, seven WIN Energy employees helped sand and stain a playset at Isaiah 117 House. Earlier this month, six employees cleaned, waxed, and buffed the dining room floor at the Gibson County Council on Aging.

WIN Energy says the program is designed to provide hands-on help to organizations serving local communities.

Applications are now being accepted for projects in 2026. Eligible non-profit, non-political organizations in rural Clay, Gibson, Greene, Knox, Pike, Posey, Sullivan, and Vigo counties can request volunteer assistance for projects such as painting, landscaping, cleaning, organizing, and other needs.

More information is available by calling WIN Energy REMC or through the cooperative’s website.
