
Vincennes University has released its list of top news stories from 2025.
One of the highlights was the 100th anniversary of The Trailblazer, the university’s student newspaper. The milestone included recognition of a century of student journalism and the unveiling of a new logo designed by a VU student.
In athletics, eight current and former Vincennes University coaches were honored with NJCAA Coaches Legacy Awards. The recognition highlights long careers and contributions across multiple sports programs.
The university also hosted the traveling exhibit Americans and the Holocaust at the Shake Library. The exhibit examined how the United States responded to the rise of Nazism and the Holocaust and included related educational programming.
Other top stories included the launch of a new five-year strategic plan, national recognition tied to the Aspen Prize, workforce training partnerships, expanded early college programs, and the 50th anniversary of Project EXCEL.
