Free tax preparation help begins this Saturday in Knox County.

United Way of Knox County is again offering its VITA tax assistance program at two local libraries in February.

The service will be available at the Knox County Public Library in Vincennes on Saturdays, February 7, 14, 21, and 28. Hours run from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

A single session will also be held at the Bicknell–Vigo Township Library on Thursday, February 12, from 3 to 6 p.m.

Tax packets can be picked up at either location. Completed packets must be returned on the scheduled service date and will be ready for pickup the following Saturday.
