The Mayor of Bicknell says the city is responding to complaints about door-to-door internet sales.

In a notice released Friday, Mayor Thomas Estabrook said residents have reported concerns about solicitors working on behalf of Frontier through a company called Renowned Management.

According to the mayor, the company does have a city permit, but complaints include aggressive sales tactics, knocking on doors after dark, and not displaying identification.

Estabrook says the city notified Renowned Management by email and outlined specific incidents. Frontier was also informed.

He says the company has been told to address the issues immediately, and the city could revoke the solicitation permit if the complaints continue.

Residents with additional concerns are asked to email the mayor’s office.
