The Vincennes Community School Corporation will host its fourth annual Career Fair on Thursday, April 9, at Alice Arena at Vincennes Lincoln High School.
About 1,500 students are expected to attend the event during the school day. Participants will include students from Vincennes Lincoln High School and Clark Middle School, along with invited junior and senior students from North Knox High School, South Knox High School, and Rivet High School.
Local businesses and organizations are invited to participate by sharing information about careers, industries, and job skills with students. The event is intended to help students learn about internships, apprenticeships, work-based learning opportunities, and both part-time and full-time employment.
Set-up for participating organizations begins at 7:30 a.m. Students will attend the fair between 8:30 a.m. and 2:45 p.m.
There is no cost for businesses or organizations to participate. Each participant will receive an eight-foot table, and electrical power will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tablecloths will not be provided.
Breakfast pastries, a boxed lunch, and drinks will be available for participants during the event.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available. The Green Level sponsorship is $500, and the White Level sponsorship is $250.
