
There are multiple Easter events scheduled in the Vincennes area over the next two weeks, including egg hunts, community gatherings, and opportunities to visit with the Easter Bunny.
The Vincennes/Knox County Visitors and Tourism Bureau released a list of activities that begin this Saturday, March 28.
On that morning there will be Breakfast with the Easter Bunny from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Blue Jeans Community Center in Monroe City. An Easter egg hunt will follow at 11 a.m. at Wabash Trails Park’s lower loop. A community Easter event is also planned from 1 to 4 p.m. at KCARC, located at 711 Old Wheatland Road.
Additional events continue Friday, April 3, with an Easter egg hunt at 4 p.m. hosted by the Lodge of the Wabash at 723 Ramsey Road in Vincennes.
Several events are scheduled for Saturday, April 4. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny for children ages 12 and under will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Foxridge Nature Park, hosted by Knox County Parks and Recreation. A sensory-friendly Easter event is planned from 10 a.m. to noon at Supportive Community Innovations, 1813 Willow Street, Suite 4D.
At 10 a.m., Community Church of Vincennes will host an Easter message, egg hunt for toddlers through sixth grade, and lunch at 1548 South Hart Street Road. Easter egg hunts are also scheduled for 11 a.m. at Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene and Indiana Presbyterian Church, located at 2431 South Lower Indiana Road.
Photos with the Easter Bunny will be available from noon to 1 p.m. at Thursday Church, 223 Main Street.
Events continue the following week. Camp Wildwood will host photos with the Easter Bunny from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 10, at 2609 Washington Avenue in Vincennes.
