A live music event connected to Wabash River Palooza is scheduled for Friday night in Vincennes.

“Path to the Palooza” will take place this Saturday, April 25th  at the Riverfront Pavilion, also known as the Farmers Market in Vincennes.

The event is set to run from 5 p.m. to around midnight.

Four bands are scheduled to perform.

Admission is $15, with free entry for those 16 and under.

The event replaces a previously planned April gathering at Kimmell Park that was changed due to concerns of Spring flooding and weather conditions that normally occur this time of year.

The full Wabash River Palooza is scheduled for June 6 at Kimmell Park. Organizers plan to use two stages this year.

Admission for the June event is set at $20, with free entry for those 16 and under.

Proceeds from the events are planned to support the Evan Twitty Scholarship and Sandy’s Food Pantry.
