
Cleanup continues in Vincennes and surrounding areas following severe storms that moved through Wednesday.
Several thunderstorm warnings were issued late in the afternoon, with trees reported down at 5th and Bayou, as well as near 14th and Perry and Volmer and several other locations. No injuries were reported, but power lines were brought down in some of those places.
Duke Energy says it has restored power to more than 73,000 customers in other parts of Indiana following the storms.
Crews continued working on remaining outages, with about 31,000 customers still without power as of early Thursday morning.
More than 500 additional workers have been brought in to assist in the hardest hit counties, including Bartholomew, Hamilton, Monroe, Union, and Vigo.

No rain is in the forecast for today, the last full day of spring. Summer officially beging at 10:42 p.m. Friday June 20th with the solstice.
Dry conditions will continue through early next week. Temperatures are expected to hit 90 degrees on Saturday and climb into the mid-90s in the days following.
