A wanted burglary suspect was arrested Friday morning after deputies with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office located him hiding under a mattress inside an Oaktown residence.
Deputies responded to a tip regarding the whereabouts of 37-year-old Dustin Biehl. Upon arriving at a home on Snapp Street, they spoke with 31-year-old Whitney Yarber, who claimed Biehl was not present. Suspecting the information was false, deputies obtained a search warrant for the residence.
At approximately 8:38 a.m., deputies executed the warrant with the assistance of K-9 Zeno. Once inside, Yarber admitted Biehl was in the home. He was discovered lying spread-eagled beneath a mattress in the bedroom and taken into custody without incident.
Biehl was booked into the Knox County Jail on a Level 5 felony warrant for burglary. Yarber was also arrested and charged with Assisting a Criminal, a Level 6 felony, for harboring Biehl.
Biehl is being held on a $10,000 cash-only bond. Yarber’s bond is set at $5,000.
