The 2025 Watermelon Festival kicks off this evening in downtown Vincennes.
The two-day celebration features live music, food trucks, craft vendors, a beer garden, and of course—plenty of free watermelon. The free festival is at Patrick Henry Square, with activities for all ages.
Tonight’s entertainment includes live music from Buck Rogers Clark, an antique tractor show and a watermelon eating contest. Saturday is the 5K color run/walk, pageants, a kids fun zone and a variety show sponsored by Blazer 91.1 WVUB.
The Watermelon Festival is organized by Knox County Chamber of Commerce.
