We’re now just one week away from Welcome on the Wabash — the big community celebration that kicks off the 2025 Cal Ripken 10-Year-Old World Series in downtown Vincennes. The August 8th event at Patrick Henry Square will feature live music, food vendors, and opening ceremonies to welcome players and fans from across the country and the world.
With thousands of visitors expected throughout the week, the Knox County Chamber of Commerce is urging local businesses to take advantage of the opportunity.
In a message to its members, the Chamber is encouraging restaurants and shops to stay open late, offer special deals, and post signs to welcome teams and their families.
The Chamber says it’s a chance to show what “Strong Business, Strong Community” really means — and make a great first impression on visitors.
