Washington Police arrested a 51-year-old Elnora man  following a traffic stop on Highway 57 near Harned Avenue.

Officers with the department’s second shift stopped a vehicle driven by Derek Hollis.  During a probable cause search of the vehicle, police reported finding more than 13 grams of methamphetamine, along with marijuana, syringes, and drug paraphernalia.

Hollis was taken into custody and booked on multiple charges, including dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of marijuana, and being a habitual traffic violator.
