To register or become a sponsor for the event, visit getmeregistered.com/VincennesWitches. Local community member and City Councilwoman Regina Blinn organizes Vincennes Witches on Bikes each year. The fundraiser has raised $21,510 since
beginning in 2021 and brings riders from Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee. In 2024 the event had over 150 registrants, 1 of which traveled from Bordeux, France.
“We got the idea from a group in Colorado who does a ride every October,” said Blinn. “When we started it, we just wanted to see who would show up. We had a dozen or so riders that first year, but word got around! All the way to France, even.”
Taking place the Saturday before Halloween each October, the group donates the money raised to the Good Samaritan Breast Care Center for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to the Vincennes Parks and Recreation as a thank you for letting them use the shelter house.

About Vincennes Witches on Bikes
Riders can use a bicycle or golf cart and are asked to dress as a witch, warlock, or their favorite Wicked character. The group will start at Gregg Park and ride 10 flat miles through downtown Vincennes where they will stop at the George Rogers Clark Memorial for a break. After photos and games, the witches and warlocks will return to Gregg Park. The group plans to pass out candy to passerby as they go.
