A resource officer at Linton-Stockton Schools has died.

Jim Gadberry suffered multiple injuries in a motorcycle crash over Labor Day weekend in Daviess County.

On Thursday evening, the school corporation posted an announcement of his passing calling Gadberry a valued member of the school family whose care and dedication touched many lives.

Counselors are available to support students today at Linton-Stockton who are grieving the loss.

Gadberry was also a member of the Shakamak School Board.  The Shakamak School District commented that Gadberry was a friend to all who knew him, always there to help anyone in need.
