
The Washington Police Department has released details of a child molesting arrest that occurred earlier this week.
On Monday October 27th, detectives and officers began investigating 34-year-old Carlos Rivera Del Valle following reports of sexual-related allegations.
Patrol officers located Rivera Del Valle shortly after the investigation began, and he was arrested without incident.
The case was investigated with assistance from the WPD Crime Scene Investigation Unit, the Daviess County Department of Child Services, the Southwestern Indiana Child Advocacy Center Coalition, and the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.
The Daviess County Prosecutor’s Office has since charged Rivera Del Valle with nine counts of child molesting and two counts of rape.
