Indiana State Police have arrested a former Youth First social worker following an investigation in Gibson County involving a Princeton High School student.
State police say detectives began looking into the case on November sixth after school administrators reported concerns about inappropriate behavior between a social worker and a sixteen-year-old male student. Investigators identified the suspect as thirty-year-old Mariah Lienemann of Owensville.
Police say the student had been in her class since the start of the school year and that the alleged conduct occurred multiple times in a classroom during school hours. Detectives also report finding inappropriate messages and video calls.
The Gibson County Prosecutor charged Lienemann with child seduction, a Level Five felony. She was arrested Thursday evening without incident and taken to the Gibson County Jail.
Lienemann is no longer employed with the organization.
