Indiana State Police arrested a Montgomery man Monday night on multiple charges following a traffic stop in Knox County.
Troopers say 45-year-old Robert Alan Dolkey was stopped on Bicknell Road near Coal Road after flashing his high beams at a state police vehicle. Investigators say the trooper smelled burnt cannabis and noticed signs of impairment. A small amount of marijuana was found, and police say Dolkey failed field sobriety tests. Toxicology results are pending.
While he was being booked into the Knox County Jail, officers reported finding a small amount of suspected methamphetamine hidden in his sock.
Dolkey faces charges including trafficking with an inmate, obstruction of justice, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and operating while intoxicated.
