Authorities rescued five duck hunters Saturday after their boat became stuck in ice on the White River in Dubois County.
Indiana Conservation Officers were called to the area just east of the Haysville bridge around 11:30 Saturday morning.
With temperatures near 12 degrees and much of the river frozen, officers used an airboat to reach the group and bring them safely to shore.
The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department, Dubois County EMS, Haysville Fire Department, and Luce Township Fire Department also responded.
No injuries were reported.
