This morning is the final chance for Knox County voters to cast a ballot early before Tuesday’s primary election.
Early voting continues 8 to Noon today at the old work release center on Nroth 8th in Vincennes. The last opportunity to vote early will be Monday, 8 a.m. to noon at the old work release center only.
Several local races are on the ballot this year. Knox County Republicans have multiple contested races, including a four-person race for sheriff, along with contested county offices and Statehouse races affecting the area.
On the Democratic ballot there are several uncontested local races and a 4 person contest for US Congress in District 8.
Tomorrow, Tuesday is election day with vote centers open 6 to 6.
